I am not looking for a one-click promise; I need a sensible review process before I touch the final edit. Would you begin with visual inspection, careful listening, or short comparison exports? The interviewee's voice needs to stay intact. Each limited repair should be easy to undo. I can work on separate troublesome moments at a time. The dialogue must remain comfortable. I would prefer subtle adjustments over broad filtering. A separate comparison export would help with judgment. I also need practical notes for the producer. The room tone should remain consistent. The final episode must still sound human. Each decision should remain safe to explain. I can review it at moderate volume. I can accept a trace of noise if the words remain easy to follow. What has worked well when a spoken recording needs selective repair? I would value examples from editors.
